VOMIFRATON 8MG/4ML 5AMP: This is an antiemetic, used to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery. It contains ondansetron, which blocks the action of serotonin, a chemical that triggers nausea and vomiting9. The usual dose is 8 mg given as an intravenous or intramuscular injection before treatment or surgery, and another 8 mg given orally 12 hours later10.
