TRITACE 5 MG COMP. 14 TAB is a blood pressure-lowering medication that contains ramipril as the active ingredient. It belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It is used to treat hypertension, heart failure, and prevent cardiovascular complications in patients who have had a heart attack or are at high risk. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the workload of the heart. The usual starting dose is 2.5 mg once daily, which can be increased gradually according to the response and tolerance of the patient. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken at any time of the day with or without food1718
