* 200 mg/3ml, Powder and solvent for solution for injection. For intravenous (I.V.) or intramuscular (I.M.) use. - 1 vial of powder: Teicoplanin 200 mg, Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide qs ad 1 vial + - 1 ampoule of solvent: 3ml: water for injections. * Indications: Targocid is used to treat infections caused by certain types of bacteria known as Gram positive organisms. Infections that may be treated with Targocid are ones that could become serious and include: skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections (affect stuctures for passing urine, such as the kidney and bladder); respiratory tract infections (affect lung and breathing); joint and bone infections; septicaemia (blood poisoning caused by infection of the blood); endocarditis (infections of the lining of the heart); peritonitis (infections in the lining of the abdomen and pelvis) caused by kidney dialysis treatment.
