DELOTAX 4000 IU 60 TABS is a food supplement containing vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in a high dose of 4000 IU per tablet. Vitamin D3 is essential for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, the function of the immune system and the regulation of cell growth. Vitamin D3 is normally produced by the skin when exposed to sunlight, but some factors such as age, skin color, sunscreen use or limited sun exposure may reduce its synthesis. DELOTAX helps to prevent and treat vitamin D3 deficiency in adults who are at risk or have low levels of this vitamin. It is taken as one tablet per day with or after a meal9
