DIASTOP SUSP 60 ML is a suspension for diarrhea and intestinal colic. It contains calcium carbonate, kaolin, tincture catechu, tincture belladonna, anise oil, and lemon oil as the active ingredients. It works by reducing the adhesiveness and surface tension of the sputum and bronchial secretions, increasing the output of sputum, and soothing the irritated mucous membranes. The dosage for children from 2 to 3 years is 10 ml as a starting dose, then 5 ml every hour, up to a maximum daily dose of 60 ml. The dosage for children from 4 to 5 years is 20 ml as a starting dose, then 10 ml every hour, up to a maximum daily dose of 80 ml34
