Vial Contains Cefepime 500 mg " Cephalosporin (Fourth Generation)" Used For Treatment, In Combination With Metronidazole, Of Complicated Intra-Abdominal Bacterial Infections , Neutropenic Fever ,Pneumonia , Skin & Soft Tissue Bacterial Infection , Urinary Tract Bacterial Infection , Complicated (Pyelonephritis Or Urinary Tract Infection With Systemic Signs/Symptoms). **Administration : Intramuscular Or As An Intermittent Infusion Over 30 Minutes. **Preparation For Administration : **For Intramuscular : *Reconstitute 500 mg >> With 1.3 ml Of Sterile Water For Injection Or Lidocaine 0.5% Or 1%. * Reconstitute 1 gm >> With 2.4 ml Of Sterile Water For Injection Or Lidocaine 0.5% Or 1 %. **Preparation For Intravenous : *Reconstitute 500 mg Vial >> With 5 ml Of Sterile Water For Injection Or Normal Saline Or Dextrose 5%. *Reconstitute Vial 1 or 2 gm Vial With >> 10 ml Of Sterile Water For Injection Or Normal Saline Or Dextrose 5%. **Note After Reconstitution , Stable In NS & D5W For 24 Hours At 20°C To 25°C & 7 Days At 2°C To 8°C. & Protect From Light.
