يُستعمل مولنوبيرافير لعلاج حالات الإصابة الخفيفة إلى المتوسطة بفيروس كورونا 2019 (كوفيد-19) لدى البالغين الذين لديهم نتيجة إيجابية لاختبار تشخيصي لفيروس كورونا المستجد 2019 (SARS-COV-2)، ولديهم عامل خطر واحد على الأقل للإصابة بمرض شديد. الجرعة الموصى بها من مولنوبيرافير هي 800 ملغ (أربع كبسولات، كل كبسولة 200 ملغ) تُؤخذ عن طريق الفم كل 12 ساعة لمدة 5 أيام. يجب عدم فتح الكبسولات أو سحقها أو مضغها.
